Antoine Semenyo, the Ghanaian forward playing in England for AFC Bournemouth, has shared his sentiments about representing the Black Stars national team.

Semenyo expressed that he considers it a privilege to play for Ghana in senior international football. He revealed that his father had also played in Ghana, making it an honor for him to wear the national team jersey and continue his family's football legacy.

"For my family, it is big. My dad played in Ghana years ago so it is nice to represent the family and my friends as well so it is an honour," he added.

In the current 2023-24 English Premier League season, Semenyo has made an impact with one goal and an assist for AFC Bournemouth.

He notably provided the crucial assist in Ghana's victory against the Central African Republic during the final game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in the previous international break.
