Head coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton has expressed dissatisfaction after their game against Egypt and feels they deserved better in the game.
Ghana got held by the Pharaohs to a pulsating 2-2 draw at the Félix Houphouët-Boignyin Stadium in the second round of matches in the group stage.
Kudus, netted a brace on the 48th and 71st minute, but goals from Omar Marmoush and Mostafa Mohammed on the 69th and 73rd minute respectively shared the points after full time.
Speaking in a post-match interview, the experienced gaffer described the results as frustrating but added they will continue to fight till they secure qualification to the knockout phase.
"We will continue to fight. It's true that there's a lot of frustration in the locker room. Our team deserved more, but football is like that. It's frustrating. With a similar performance, we would surely have won. Two errors cost us the match. We didn't take this opportunity to take the three points."
Ghana after the draw, are still at the bottom of Group B with just a point and will need a win at all cost in the last round of matches to advance to the quarter final.
Ghana will take on the Mambas of Mozambique to wrap up the group phase on Monday, January 22, 2024.
