Accra Great Olympics have appointed Eric Alagidede as the club’s new General Manager, stepping into the role previously held by veteran Oloboi Commodore.
Alagidede, the former General Manager of Nsoatreman FC, is expected to lead Oly Dade's administrative and strategic operations as the two-time Ghana Premier League champions aim to strengthen their structure ahead of the 2025/26 Division One League season, having suffered relegation from the Ghanaian topflight two seasons ago.
His appointment comes as part of a broader effort by Great Olympics to rebuild off the pitch following a turbulent campaign last season and have since parted ways with several key players and backroom staff.
The Dade Mashie are looking to restore stability both on and off the pitch, with Alagidede expected to play a central role in reshaping its management structure and long-term planning.
During his tenure at Nsoatreman, Alagidede played a key role in transforming the club into one of the league’s surprise packages. He oversaw improved infrastructure, led strategic recruitment, and helped guide the club to a historic top-four finish in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season — their highest-ever placement. Nsoatreman, also went ahead to win the MTN FA Cup and participate in the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup.
