The Black Satellites played out a pulsating 1-1 draw against sworn rivals Nigeria in a crunchy game to kickoff the ongoing WAFU Zone B Africa Cup of Nations
The game was held at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram- same venue that will host the remaining matches
The Satellites started the game on a higher note and were the dominant side especially at half time having finished with a 1-0, courtesy a thunderbolt strike by Dreams FC star Aziz Misbau
The Nigerian Flying Eagles bounced back very well in the second half having made good use of the chances that fell their way after Abdullahi Muhammad scored with a towering header from corner kick
Both teams kept on taking the game at each other in the final twenty minutes and mounted so much but no goal was registered again as it finished 1-1 after full time
With only three teams in Group A, Ghana will sit out from the next round of matches and await the results o the game between Nigeria and Benin
