The Acting Registrar of the Ghana Psychology Council, Anna Plange, has revealed that newly appointed psychologist of Black Stars, Kris Perquy, is not currently qualified to practice in the country.

 


Speaking to Citi Sports, Plange pointed out that the Belgian psychologist must go through the Licensing procedure prior to commencing practice in Ghana.



Perquy together with technical advisor - Winfried Schäfer, Assistant coach Desmond Ofei, Gregory De Grauwe as the video analyst.



Plange stated that the GFA should have begun the process before Perquy’s appointment.



“As long as you are coming into the country to practice, you are supposed to be registered and licensed by the Ghana Psychology Council,” Plange said.



She revealed additionally that the Council has officially written to the GFA concerning the matter but is still awaiting a reply.



“The right thing should have been for the GFA to contact us once they intended to appoint him so he could be licensed. We haven’t heard from them yet."
