Prominent Ghanaian football administrator Wilfred Osei Kwaku 'Palmer' has reiterated his belief that Kurt Okraku has failed in his role as President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Speaking to Akoma FM, Palmer argued that Okraku’s leadership has fallen short of expectations, claiming that his primary focus was on securing the GFA presidency rather than effectively running Ghanaian football.

“Kurt has failed to meet expectations because he was only focused on becoming FA President. I will rate the Kurt administration 3 out of 10,” Palmer stated.

He further accused Okraku of greed, blaming his leadership for Ghanaian football’s declining appeal. “Kurt is greedy, and that is why football in Ghana is no longer appealing. I wish to turn Tema Youth into an academy,” he added.

Okraku, now in his second term, has faced widespread criticism from football administrators and the public, particularly following the Black Stars’ failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). Calls for his resignation have grown in recent months.
