Asante Kotoko will cross swords with South African heavyweights Kaizer Chiefs this weekend in a highly-anticipated Toyota Cup game coming up in Durban
The Porcupine Warriors left the shores of the country to Johannesburg few days ago before finally reaching their main destination and were handed a very warm reception and are now checking in at Protea Hotel Fire and Ice
Coach Karim Zito and his charges have already trained at the George Campbell School of Technology, with two sessions held already, all as part of their quest to acclimatizing quickly and also getting ready for the crunchy clash coming up.
Speaking ahead of the game, Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku, who has been on an explosive form since his return to the club, said they will go all out to secure that precious win for their supporters
"We all know we are Asante Kotoko and Asante Kotoko is one of the biggest clubs in Africa that is undoubtedly. So ahead of every game we try to do well we try to win every game for ourselves and to our supporters so we want to win coming Saturday to make our supporters very happy," Opoku told Asante Kotoko SC media.
The game is slated for Saturday, July 26, at the Moses Mabhida Stadium at 13:00GMT (1:00pm)
