Kwasi Okyere Wriedt, the striker currently playing in Germany, is set to make a comeback to the Ghana national team, the Black Stars, for their upcoming match in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Ghana is scheduled to face Madagascar in the AFCON qualifiers on June 18.
In preparation for the match, head coach Chris Hughton has announced a 24-man squad today, which includes the inclusion of striker Kwasi Okyere Wriedt.
Wriedt, who plays for Holstein Kiel, missed the previous doubleheader clash against Angola in March but will now have the opportunity to showcase his skills and impress coach Chris Hughton, aiming to secure a spot in the Black Stars squad.
