Former Black Stars midfielder Laryea Kingston has named his all-time best Black Stars XI from his playing days.
The ex-Hearts of Oak player selected Richard Kingson as his goalkeeper. For the back four, he picked John Paintsil at right-back, with John Mensah and Eric Addo forming the center-back pairing. Hans Adu Sarpei took the left-back spot.
Setting up his team in a 4-4-2 formation, Kingston chose himself, alongside Stephen Appiah, Michael Essien, and Sulley Muntari in midfield.
For the forward positions, he opted for Asamoah Gyan and Matthew Amoah.
Kingston, who made his Black Stars debut in 2002, earned 40 caps and scored six goals for his country. He retired from international football in 2010 after being left out of the World Cup squad for the second time.
