The 2022 Ashanti Regional Division two promotional tournament goes into match-day 2 on Friday, 17th June, 2022 with another pack of exciting clashes coming up.
The first round of matches produced some great moments with 13 goals recorded in the four matches honoured and definitely much more than that will be anticipated for the rest of the rounds.
NATCOSTA FC VRS KUMAWUMAN UNITED
The opening fixture of the second round of matches will be between Natcosta FC and Kumawuman United- who are currently leading the Group B log with the highest number of goals.
They will definitely play their hearts out for another win to boost their qualification chances whiles Natcosta will also look to secure their first win to keep their cruising hopes alive.
-EBONY FC vs ASEKEM FC
Undoubtedly, this will be the biggest fixture of the round looking at how exciting both teams look right from the first phase of the league, having conquered both zone one and two with their explosive fire ammunition.
Ebony produced a great fightback to edge out Benab FC to move to the summit of the Group A table whiles last year finalist, Asekem FC also got held by First Klass in their first game and knows it is only a win this time that can keep them in the race to the second tier.
-JACHIE UNITED vs PRO PLAYERS ACADEMY
Pro Players Academy grinded the first win in the first round of games and will want to nip on that for motivation as they prepare to take on Jachie United- who got thumped on by 4-2 last Wednesday.
-BENAB FC VRS FIRST KLASS FC
Another fixture to derive more attention and anticipation will be this one as Ghanaian football fans will keep tabs to see how Benab FC will bounce back and also look to see if First Klass could cause another upset after holding Asekem FC in their first game.
The Green and Oranges despite their high-flying start also gave away Israel Opoku's early lead to slip narrowly to Ebony FC in their last game.
Note, the matches commences at 8:00am at the Baba Yara Stadium.
