Banda made history by becoming the tenth tribe to have their hands grip on the Moshie Zongo Inter-Tribal Galah after winning the 2022 edition with a narrow 1-0 win over Bono in an epic final on Sunday afternoon.
Both teams begun on a higher note and took the game at each other, right from onset in search for the opener but all proved futile.
New winner was definitely going to be emerged since the two finalists were all yet to have their hands gripped on the coveted trophy and were actually in the final for the first time.
Banda looked really dominant in the first half, dominating so much in midfield but had a less functioning attack with Alhassan Pogba and Ember not getting spaces, making their threats from the flanks very weak.
Bono however, couldn't exhibit what they were made off, having struggled with a team play but nipped on the individual brilliance of Ebony FC young chap Akwasi Buntu famously known as Dybala.
However, Abedi and Ben were really strong in midfield, bossing it in terms of combative works and were also consistent in spraying passes around.
In the second half, the two tribes returned on a stronger note and attacked with so much intent and purpose in search for the opener.
Two free kicks for Banda at a very advantageous position just from the break but Rashid had all his deliveries sky wide for a goalkick.
Banda nearly snatched the lead in the last fifteen minutes, Ben Ajele had his shot blocked by the defence but Frimpong's follow up thunderbolt was dealt with brilliantly by goalkeeper Kobby.
Finally, just what they have been hunting for, Banda finally snatched the lead in the dying embers of the game to leave the streets of Moshie Zongo in complete raptures.
It was a beautiful build up from the left, Baba Rahman played a decent mirror pass in between the Bono defence to locate Kwame Boateng who struck into the bottom left corner to give his side the lead.
It ended 1-0 after full time. Banda wins the competition for the first time in it history, becoming the tenth different tribe to clinch the trophy.
