The Black Satellites are still winless since arriving in Egypt ahead of the 2025 TotalEnergies CAF U-20 Cup of Nations after playing out another 2-2 stalemate against Kenya in their second friendly last Thursday.

The 2009 world champions engaged the Young Chipolopolos of Zambia last Tuesday in a test game and ended up losing by 2-1 after conceding at the death of the game in what was before a very balanced encounter.

The game was really an exciting one with both nations putting up great performances and giving each other a very good run for their monies.

Ghana were off to a brighter start in the game as red-hot Dreams FC youngster Abdul Aziz Musibau once again got on the scoresheet by netting a brace in the early stages.

However, quick response from the Kenyans who also got two goals to level things up before half time courtesy Hassan Beja and Lawrence Ouma.

Coach Desmond Ofei despite not getting the wins, still sees lots of positives in the game as he continues to rotate his team until he finds the perfect selection ahead of the main tournament

The four-time African champions have been paired in Group B alongside reigning champions Senegal, DR Congo and Central African Republic

The Black Satellites will kickstart their campaign against DR Congo on Friday, May 2, 2025
