The locally based senior national team of Ghana continued their preparations for the final 2021 CHAN qualifier against Nigeria with a big win over Tudu Mighty Jets in a friendly.
The Black Galaxies of Ghana thumped lower-tier side Tudu Mighty Jets 8-0 in a friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday morning.
Hearts of Oak attacker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh registered three goals for the Black Galaxies in their massive win over Mighty Jets.
Midfield dynamo Umar Bashiru was at usual best for the team after netting a brace as Maxwell Abbey Quaye also got his name on the score sheet to complete their win over Mighty Jets.
The Black Galaxies booked themselves a ticket to the final qualification round of the 2021 CHAN after eliminating Benin on a 4-0 aggregate after a two-legged fixture.
The Black Galaxies will host Nigeria in the first leg tie at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on 27th August 2022 before traveling to Abuja for the reverse fixture on 4th September 2022.
The winner of the two-legged fixture will secure one of the tickets to the 2022 CHAN will be staged in Algeria next year.
