King Faisal Babes midfielder Enock Morrison has emerged as a rumoured target for Asante Kotoko ahead of the next football season.
Morrison has also revealed that he would consider Kotoko as a 'dream' club to join, furthering speculation that he could be set for a high-profile move in the not-too-distant future.
With that in mind, here's a look at eight things to know about this rapidly rising talent...
He Honed His Skills at Star Makers FC
Like so many footballers who grew up with limited means, Morrison plied his trade on the streets of Dansoman as a young boy before being snatched up by lower-tier side Star Makers FC.
When you think about it, it's actually easy to see how such an environment could have honed Morrison's excellent skill in tight spaces and quickened his decision making while on the ball.
The Team Always Comes First
As an attacking midfielder it's very easy to shirk your defensive responsibilities, something which fans of rumoured suitors will know all too well.
Morrison, however, has shown time and time again with King Faisal, as well as in his earlier career at Star Makers FC, that he isn't afraid to track back for his teammates and even get stuck into tackles.
His Technique on the Ball is Exquisite
Atdent followers of the Ghanaian top flight league can attest to the fact that Enock Morrison is a joy to watch when he’s on the pitch. Last season, he showed off his quality on a consistent basis with his excellent control on the ball, eagle-eyed vision and those goals that came in handy from time to time.
Morrison also posed a threat from distance as he possesses a powerful shot. He’s a very skillful player and his flamboyance is unrivaled.
He idolises Mesut Ozil
Morrison is known to be a great admirer of the German and he made that clear in the opening comments of his interview with kickgh.com
He started, "Growing up, I dreamed about a lot of things, especially a career like Mesut Ozil's. When he plays, he makes everyone watching him happy."
Morrison then revealed he still has a long way to go in order to be spoken of in the same breath as Ozil as he said, "I'm not that good. He has made history and I've yet to get up there, you can't compare us. There are few quite like him, just by watching him I've learnt a lot."
