Hearts of Oak have once again been evicted from the MTN FA Cup in round of 64 after a narrow 0-1 defeat to lower-division side True Life FC in a very difficult game at the Kpobiman training grounds.

Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani made some few changes in today’s line up starting Sharif Shuaib in goal with the likes of Solomon Agbasi, Ali Mohammed, Hussein Mohammed, Hamza Issah, George Paaku all starting from the bench.

It was an explosive start for the Phobians who proved to be the better side right from day one with series of attacks but had most of their attacks curbed by the lower division side

In the second half, True Life bounced back stronger and looked much dangerous than their approach to the second half.

Despite these, the Rainbow Club had the opportunity to score on two occasions but Martin Karikari and Aziz Adam failed to make good use of those chances that came their way.

The ‘Discipline and Team Work’ lads finally broke the deadlock in the 68th minute courtesy Robert Nartey who scored with a very cool finish.

Hearts of Oak tried all means possible to get the leveller but all their attacks proved futile and have now exited the competition in the first round.
