Kingsley Braye stole the spotlight with a stunning hat-trick to propel Medeama SC into the MTN FA Cup Round of 16, as they overcame Bibiani Gold Stars 3–1 at the TnA Stadium on Wednesday.

From the outset, Ibrahim Tanko’s men looked sharp and purposeful. Braye opened the scoring in the 27th minute, calmly finishing to give the Ghana Premier League leaders the upper hand. The forward struck again on the stroke of halftime, doubling Medeama’s advantage and giving the home side firm control heading into the break.

Bibiani Gold Stars attempted a comeback after the interval, with Gideon Anaba pulling one back in the 52nd minute to briefly spark hopes of a fightback. However, Medeama maintained composure, controlling possession and limiting the visitors’ opportunities.

The decisive moment came in the 85th minute, when Braye completed his treble with a clinical finish, capping a scintillating individual display and confirming Medeama’s deserved victory.
