Moldovan-based midfielder Mudasiru Salifu has been included in the Black Stars provisional man squad ahead of the 2022 FIFA World.

The 25 year old had a fantastic season with current Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko, having played an integral role in helping them win the league after almost eight year drought.

The mercurial midfielder after an impressive spell had the opportunity to join Moldovan champions FC Sheriff Tiraspol and is gradually establishing himself as a mainstay in the team.

He's made 19 appearances so far in all competitions, including the double against English giants Manchester United in the Europa League.

Mudasiru, 25, has earned a place in coach Otto Addo's provisional list and will join their pre tournament training tour in Abu Dhabi until the squad is trimmed down to the final 26.

Ghana is housed in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and two time world champions Uruguay.
