The Ghana Football Association have announced Swiss gaffer, Nora Hauptle as the new head coach of the senior women national team, Black Queens.

The 39 year old comes in to replace Madam Mercy Tagoe whose jettisoned wasn't really noticed by many a football faithful in the country.

The UEFA Pro License holder last worked with the Israel women national team and also served as their Women football Director.
 
She's been in Ghana and worked with the Queens for sometime now but has now taken over fully and will be assisted by former Kotoko player Aboagye Dacosta and Joyce Boatey- who happens to be the Physical Education teacher and also coach at Kumasi Girls Senior High School. 
 
Nora Hauptle will officially starts working very soon when the Black Queens regroup in camp for preparations towards the WAFU Championship and AWCON qualifiers.
