Black Queens head coach, Nora Hauptle is satisfied with her side's performance and the humiliating victory they recorded over Rwanda earlier today in Kigali.

Ghana thumped on the She Amavubi by an emphatic 0-7 at the Kigali Pele Stadium on Wednesday afternoon in the first leg of the 2024 Women Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Norwegian-based Evelyn Badu netted a brace in the game so as Anastasia Achiaa, coupled with a goal each from Princella Adubea, Doris Boaduwaa and Alice Kusi to seal the win.

Speaking in an interview, the Swiss tactician says she is impressed with how the nature of the pitch allowed them to play their possessive football throughout the game, scored goals and also kept a clean sheet.

She added that, their attention will now switch quickly to the return leg which is scheduled for next week in Accra.

"We won 7- 0, coach is quite satisfied and not only we scored many goals, but also we kept our clean sheet."

“It was not easy before the game due to some circumstances. A good team is able to go through those circumstances. We have been ready since the first minute on the pitch. We scored from a set piece

“We were lucky to play on an Astro-turf. Ball was rolling good, we invested so much in our possession game during training. All in all I am very satisfied. There are still little details that we have to address. It was good to also give five players playing time to release the load."

“Now our focus is to make sure we are ready next Tuesday in Accra in our own stadium in-front of our crowd."

Nora Hauptle, since taking over, has now won all her six matches and have scored 21 goals so far, and have conceded none.
