Former Ghana Football Association President, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has disagreed with all those calling for the jettisoning of Black Stars head coach Otto Addo as he feels he should be maintained but needs guidance.
He made these comments following the Black Stars recent ill performances in the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The four-time African champions lost to Sudan by 2-0 in their last game and are currently without a win in their opening four matches and are found on the fourth position with only two points.
Speaking on Asempa FM this morning, the experienced football administrator believes sacking Otto Addo isn't the best option at the moment since that has been done for years but with no significant changes.
He furthered on by saying the former Borussia Dortmund trainer should be retained but needs advise from the GFA since that's the only he can survive on the job.
"I will not say Otto Addo should be dismissed because that has never been the solution. He rather needs advice.
"He (Otto Addo) will only do well based on the instructions he will be given by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
"Otto Addo must not be sacked. Keep him and guide him," he added.
The Black Stars will resume in action next month to face Angola and Niger in the final two rounds of games in the ongoing 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
