Black Queens midfielder, Jennifer Cudjoe ahead of the Namibia game, has expressed how desperate they are to secure qualification to the WAFCON and feels they have amazing talents among them to achieve that.

Ghana will face Namibia on Friday afternoon in the first leg of the final round of the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The last time the Queens regrouped was last month where they defeated Benin 5-0 on aggregate win to advance to the final qualifying round of the 2024 Olympic Games.

The senior women national team have been in camp for some days now preparing for the epic tie coming up as they hope to qualify to the WAFCON for the first time since 2018 when Ghana hosted.

Speaking ahead of the game, FC Norsdjaelland midfielder feels they have everything it takes to qualify and will have themselves to blame if they are unable to achieve that.

"A few of us haven’t been to the WAFCON before. This will be my first time so the conversation is always about what would it look like to be there. Everybody knows why we are here, we have been out for a long time and this is the time we have to use the opportunity to get back into the WAFCON again. We all want to be there because that’s our goal."

"We believe in ourselves and we challenge each other every single day. We have a point to prove but we also believe that we have done a lot in the last few months. We’ve stepped up every single game, people have watched and they can see the progression in every single game."

“We have amazing talents. This game will come down to who wants it more. It’s in our own hands to be able to deliver and if we don’t deliver, we have to blame ourselves. It will be tough if we don’t qualify", she landed

The game is scheduled for 15:30GMT at the Ohene Gyan Stadium
