Former Ghana international Bernard Nii Aryee has made a donation to colts football side Ken Harrison Babies, underscoring his commitment to nurturing young talent at the grassroots level.

The ex-Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics and Liberty Professionals midfielder donated footballs, training cones, bibs and assorted drinks to the Mamprobi-based colts side at their Indafa Park home ground, in a gesture aimed at supporting their development.

The donation was warmly received by officials of Ken Harrison Babies, who described the gesture as timely and motivating for the youngsters.

Aryee, who also featured for the Black Meteors whose playing career included stints in the Netherlands with AZ Alkmaar and PEC Zwolle, as well as in Singapore with Marine Castle (now Hougang United), has in recent years shifted his focus to nurturing young talent.

The former Black Stars midfielder is now based in the United States, where he organizes youth soccer clinics across Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, and the Washington DC Metro area. He also serves as head coach of the Washington DC Black Meteors, a team located in Silver Spring, Maryland.
