Prominent Sports Journo Yaw Ampofo Ankrah appointed Director General of National Sports Authority

Seasoned sports journalist Yaw Ampofo Ankrah has been appointed Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Kickgh.com can confirm.

The President of the Ghana Beach Soccer Association who possesses extensive knowledge and experience is expected to bring aboard honesty, principle, and passion to his new position.

Ankrah's appointment has been perceived as a tactical move with a long-term goal to enhance Ghana's sports industry sector. 

As the new Director General of the National Sports Authority, Ankrah will liaise with Sports and Recreation Minister, Kofi Adams to improve, develop, boost, manage and elevate sporting events. 

Also under his tutelage, he will have the opportunity to explore and implement various innovations for generating funds internally.
