Hearts of Oak are yet to announce a new head coach after the sacking of Samuel Boadu two weeks ago.

Though it is reported that Serbian Slavko Matic will be given the job of the "Phobians" side after arriving in Ghana two days ago, it is yet to be determined when the announcement will be made.

Details reveal that the coach will be on a salary of $4,000 a month, equivalent to GH¢43,000 including bonuses on game performance.

Hearts of Oak is currently led by assistant coach David Dickson Ocloo who oversaw the team's defeat in Mali in their first leg CAF Confederations Cup game against ASR Bamako.

It is expected that the Serbian will be watching the game and give technical support to the team on Sunday in the second leg encounter in Accra.

The 2020/21 Ghana Champions are on a streak of winless round and will be wanting to salvage a reasonable result to whip up appetite ahead of their subsequent game, possibly a win on Sunday.

Slavko Matic is an experienced gaffer leading several clubs in Asia.
