Former Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah says he hopes the players will carry their club form into the World Cup.

Ghana will play Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in the group stages of the World Cup.

The three-time World Cup participants will lock horns with Switzerland in their final pre-World Cup friendly on 17th November.

Otto Addo will announce his final twenty-six man squad on Monday, 14th November, according to the Ghana Football Association.

Stephen Appiah believes the Black Stars players will transfer their club form at the global showpiece.

"We will. Watching our players now they are all in top form and this is the time I have been seeing Ghanaians playing in the Champions League and the Europa League," he told Joy Sports.

“That means they are doing well and I hope they will take the same form to Qatar,” he added.
