Black Stars Management Committee Vice-Chairman Stephen Appiah has disclosed with so much confidence that the team is ever ready for the matches coming up and added qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup is very possible.
The four-time African champions started pitching camp last Monday and had a full house in yesterday’s session before departing to N’Djamena for the game against Chad.
Ghana after six matches are currently leading Group I with 15 points; culminated from five wins and a defeat and victories in these matches will brighten their qualification chances.
Speaking ahead of the game, Stephen Appiah, the ex- Black Stars captain has thrown his full support behind the team and has urged all Ghanaians to do same coming into the game.
“Talking to them, they are ready to play the two games, and we all know that we have two crucial games that will determine our chances for the World Cup.
"We believe that the guys will make it,” Appiah added.
‘Les Sao’ will host Ghana on Thursday, September 4, at the Marshal Idriss Déby Itno Olympic Stadium. They will host Mali in their second game at the Ohene Gyan Stadium in four days time.
