Nora Hauptle, the head coach of the Black Queens of Ghana, expressed her satisfaction after guiding her team to a convincing 3-0 victory over Guinea on Friday evening.

In the first leg encounter of the African qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games, the Ghanaian women's senior national team faced off against their Guinean counterparts.

During a post-match interview, Coach Nora Hauptle expressed her belief that her team could have scored more goals, despite the convincing win.

“I think we’ve had a good start in the Olympic qualifiers. We won this game 3-0. We had a stable start and I think in the end the score should have been much higher.

“In the end I’m very satisfied . We are looking forward to travel home to mother Ghana and of course having the second game,” Coach Nora Hauptle said.

She further expressed her satisfaction with the team's performance and looked forward to returning to Ghana for the second game.

The reverse fixture between Ghana and Guinea is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, July 18.
