Assistant coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani of the Black Stars is committed to playing a pivotal role in guiding the team to a successful campaign in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Despite being placed in a challenging Group I, which includes tough opponents such as Madagascar, Comoros, Chad, Central African Republic, and Mali, Dramani remains optimistic about Ghana's chances.

In response to the draw conducted in Abidjan, Dramani emphasized the importance of not underestimating any team, stating, "Everyone is a threat, and we need not underestimate anyone. We have to put together a good team, keep the right mentality, and keep focusing on games one after the other," he said as quoted by Ghanasoccernet.

Ghana has a strong history in the World Cup, having qualified for four out of the last five tournaments. However, their performance in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar was disappointing, as they were unable to progress beyond the group stage, losing to Portugal and Uruguay while defeating South Korea.

The Black Stars are determined to secure qualification for the 2026 tournament and aim to replicate their impressive showing in 2010 when they reached the quarter-finals in South Africa, leaving a lasting impression on Ghanaians.
