Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, Randy Abbey has heaped praises on Sports Minister Hon. Kofi Adams for his immense support for the senior men national team in the just ended March international window.

The senior men national team regrouped early last week for match-day five and six of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers but have all returned to their various clubs at the moment.

The four-time African champions have now brighten their qualification chances to the next Mundial after emphatic wins over Chad and Madagascar and now expected to rise in the next FIFA World rankings.

In a recent interview, the renowned journalist lauded the Sports Minister for making things smooth for the team while in camp and is looking forward to maintaining the same relationship with him going forward

"He was very, very instrumental... He worked extremely well."

"I'll like to thank him for what he has done for the team and I hope that we'll continue working together as a team."

Ghana are currently five points off the summit of Group I after six games and are just few wins away from making their fifth appearance at the world's biggest football competition.

The Black Stars will regroup in September 1, to face Chad and Mali in the next round of matches in the qualifiers.
