The Black Princesses have recorded an important 0-1 away win over South Africa to emerge victors of the tie and are now through to the next round of the U-20 Women’s World Cup which comes up later this year. 

The first leg ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw in Accra last week in a game the Princess surrendered an initial two-goal lead in the end, thanks to goals in each half by Agnes Yeboah and Linda Owusu Ansah 

Coach Charles Simpson and his girls after this precious victory will face the winner of Zambia versus Uganda - another hurdle that will be very tough to jump. 

The Black Princesses have qualified to the last seven consecutive U-20 Women’s World Cup and are hoping to extend to eight. 

The next women’s World Cup at U-20 level will be staged in Poland later this year.
