The Majority shareholder of Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede has urged the fans of the club to be grateful for having Alhaji Braimah Akambi and Vincent Odotei Sowah as part of the current leadership of the club.
Duo Alhaji Braimah Akambi and Vincent Odotei Sowah were fingered by the supporters of Hearts of Oak for the club's recent woes and called for their immediate exit from the club.
The two were held hostage by the irate fans of Hearts of Oak following their elimination from the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup after losing 3-1 on a aggregate to ASR Bamako of Mali.
However, Togbe Afede attributed the club's recent success of winning the 2020/12 Ghana Premier League title and two FA Cup trophies to the two seasoned football administrators.
Alhaji Akambi and Hon. Odotei Sowah are the right people for Accra Hearts of Oak.”- Togbe Afede XIV said during a press conference on Wednesday.
