Ajax midfielder, Mohammed Kudus says he admires Thiago Alcantara's style of play.
Mohammed Kudus has been on imperious form since his failed move to Everton last summer.
The 22-year-old has scored nine goals in fifteen games including three strikes in four UEFA Champions League games.
He scored in Ajax's 7:1 victory over Excelsior in the Eredivisie last weekend.
The midfielder cum striker is in contention to join Ghana to the World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana will face Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in Group H.
Speaking to Ajax's website, Mohammed Kudus says liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara is his childhood hero as he insists that he fell in love with his creativity.
"I loved his game as a child. I like creativity and fun playing. When I played in Denmark, a friend of mine arranged a shirt from him," he told the club's website.
"It was fantastic. The shirt is hanging at my home and I am very proud of it. Sometimes he plays on 'six' but then, despite his defensive duties, he doesn't lose his creativity.
"No matter where he plays, he always finds the balance between defending and attacking. That's how I want to play," he added.
