Deputy coach of Ghana men U17 side, Winfred Dormon has expressed their readiness for the game against Group A winners, Burkina Faso in the second semi final of the 2022 WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship.

 

The Black Starlets cruised to the semi final with a resounding 3-0 victory over Togo to redeem their qualification chances after they had already lost to bitterest rivals Nigeria in their opening game. 

Ghana will battle it out with the Young Stallions in what promises to be a crunchy tie following the final ticket at stake and also an automatic qualification to the next CAF U-17 Cup of Nations. 
 
Speaking ahead of the game, assistant gaffer, Winfred Dormon has stated they have monitored their opponents very and have identified the means to beat them today. He said; 
 
"The players displayed quality football in the last match against Togo. And we will play against a Burkina Faso that has won all it's matches," he said.
 
"We have analyzed them critically and we know what to expect. Physically and mentally, the players are ready for the game against Burkina Faso."
 
The game is scheduled for 1600GMT (4:00pm) today at the Cape Coast Stadium.
