Former Black Stars Assistant Coach, Sellas Tetteh, says he could have led the Black Stars to win the World Cup if he was given the job.
Sellas Tetteh led the Black Satellites to win the Under-20 world cup in 2009, becoming the first and only African coach and nation to win the world cup at that level.
Sellas Tetteh has previously serves as the assistant coach of the Black Stars and held the front steer on interim basis before in 2008.
He has managed Rwanda and Sierra Leone National Teams in the past.
Ghana have been drawn together with Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in group H of the world cup finale in Qatar.
The 56-year-old says he would have win the world cup with the Ghanaian national team if he had been given the nod.
"I know the Black Stars job is not an easy task, but I could have led the team to win the World Cup," he claimed on Woezor TV.
"I had a plan for the U-20 and it worked perfectly during the African Youth Championship and the World Cup."
"It is a big stage where all the countries are exhibiting what they have and for me, the Black Stars could have done better if I was given the job,"he insisted.
