The Swedish gaffer handed invites to 32 players for the first phase of camping towards the much-anticipated tournament in Prampram with most of the notable names maintained
The Queens engaged in series of intensive training sessions including tryouts games including including playing against their feeder team the Black Princesses
Having ended the first phase of the camping and set to resume in few weeks time, coach Kim Lars Björkegren now has a clear picture of his team and will definitely identify players to select for the main competition very soon
In an interview, the 43-year-old tactician added they are still looking to patching up some cracks in the team and will be ready for the main event very soon
"We need to get closer to the final pieces. That's necessary, of course, to win games. I'm sure we will be ready in Morocco in the summer."
The 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations will run between July 5 and July 26, 2025
