Asante Kotoko striker, Kwame Opoku says winning against Bibiani GoldStars has served as a moral booster to them on the back of their appalling recently and added they are very prepared for the new season especially their Africa campaign.
The Porcupine Warriors exhibited a stupendous performance to narrowly edge Bibiani GoldStars by 0-1 in a very fascinating encounter at the Dun’s Park.
The game was a very difficult one as both teams played well by taking the game at each other but struggled to find the net until substitute Musah Hamzata scored what made the difference in the 68th minute
The victory meant so much to the ‘Kum Apem’ lads who have come under a huge scrutiny recently following their abysmal run in the Top 4 tournament and will hope to build on this momentum going forward
In a post-match interview, the lethal striker said they very prepared for the CAF Confederations and also the upcoming league season.
