Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has reacted to their penalty shootout loss to Bibiani GoldStars last night and says they have identified lots of positives from the game. 

The ‘Phobians’ came from two goals down to play out a pulsating 2-2 draw against the champions in what was a very thrilling encounter of the ongoing Top 4 tournament at the Legon Stadium 

Samuel Ata Kumi scored first from the spot before Justice Arthur connected from a lose Benjamin Asare to double GoldStars’ lead before the half-hour mark. 

George Paaku pulled one back with a strike into the roof just on the stroke of half-time before Hussein Mohammed scored after recess to level the score and send the game to penalty shootout.

Speaking after the game, the experienced gaffer is unfazed as he feels they had a good game having come from two goals and will look to patch up the few cracks identified before their next game. 

“It’s not a bad day. Losing is part of it and we’ve learned a lot from it. Those are the good points we take from here,” Dramani said in his post-match remarks.

“I think we lost some spaces both defensively and offensively, but in the latter part of the game we were able to rectify this, so we took control and that is how we were able to score the equaliser,” Dramani reflected after the match.

Hearts of Oak will wrap to up their Top 4 campaign tomorrow when they take on their bitter rivals Asante Kotoko in the next round of matches.
