The Pride and Passion will welcome Accra Lions to Naa Sheriga Sports Centre on Saturday afternoon, in their latest Premier League encounter.
Abukari Damba led Karela to a 3-1 humiliation at Hearts of Oak on Saturday evening, whereas the ‘Yen Nyinaa Dea’ scooped a 2-0 at home to Bibiani Gold Stars on a hot Accra Sports Stadium afternoon.
The three point was still a praiseworthy outcome for the capital charges, who sit 5th in the table with 39 points from as many matches - nine clear of Karela in the relegation zone - ahead of Saturdays Premier League face off with Anyars Ibrahim Tanko’s side, where it will be a managerial clash of former Ghana internationals.
Karela have triumph five times in both the Premier League and FA Cup since the turn of the year, Accra Lions have also shipped five goals in their last three Premier League away encounters - albeit to Heart of Lions, RTU and Asante Kotoko (which they won 3-2) - but trips to the Northern hemisphere normally do bode well for the ‘Yen Nyinaa Dea’ lads.
