Hearts of Oak will cross swords with regional rivals Accra Lions in the final game of Ghana Premier League match-week 28 this afternoon at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.

With a string of poor results recently which has brought the entire team under a huge scrutiny, the 'Phobians' definitely will hope for nothing but a victory this time to redeem themselves.

Having being in their best form in this second round, the Lions will definitely go all out this time to make sure they end their losing streak against the Phobians since playing in the topflight after five attempts.

Hearts of Oak after picking a vital 3-1 win over Karela United, couldn't maintain the momentum going forward having lost 2-0 to Legon Cities FC in their last game.

With an appalling run of four loses from their last five matches, Hearts of Oak are currently lurking around the 12th spot on the league table with 35 points after 27 matches.

However, the Lions have been impressive having won three in their last five games including precious victories over Bofo, champions Medeama SC and others.

The Blue-Blacks nipped on Dominic Amponsah's leveller to salvage a huge point away at Karela United at the fortress, Naa Sheriga Sports Center in Nalerigu in the last round of matches.

With three wins, a draw and a loss from their recent five games in the league, Ibrahim Tanko's men are currently found on the eighth position on the log with 40 points, and a win today will reinstate them back in the top four.
