On the back of contrasting results last weekend, Bechem United and Dreams FC will convene for a Ghana Premier League encounter at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour on Sunday afternoon.

The youthful Hunters were pummeled 2-0 in their match-round three affair, while Dreams FC also failed to revelled in more success with a 2-2 draw against Heart of Lions.

Match Preview

Failing to get the better of Bechem United in a third-matchday game, the Hunters haven’t been lucky enough this season as they have recorded two draws and one defeat.

It was not for the want of trying for coach Kwaku Danso’s outfit, who did not test their opposition goalkeeper’s on several occasions in the three matches they’ve played on several occasions, but Nations FC, Aduana and Hearts of Oak shot-stoppers made their yards an impenetrable figure in between their sticks.

With their dreams of a superb takeoff crashing and burning, the Hunters can at least focus purely on their subsequent fixtures as they hope to make a statement.

Kwaku Danso’s side have now been bumped down to 13th in the table - just one point beneath 10th placed Dreams FC.

However, breaking the figures down, in the five matches that they’ve played against each other, Bechem have racked up three wins, while Dreams have won just once with the other been a goalless draw game.

Team News

Regarding the ravaged Hunters, assistant coach Seth Osei Wire has confirmed that none of their lads are down with injury and all their star players should be in contention to play this weekend.

On the other hand, players of Dreams FC are also all guaranteed to be unavailable, as their star players are all primed to make the first XI.

Bechem United possible starting lineup:
Aziz (GK) (C); Abdulai, Acheampong, Asabere, Mensah, Nkethia, Nyarko, Okrah, Owusu, Regain, Yeboah.

Dreams FC possible starting lineup:
Aseako (GK); Adjei, Aziz, Boah, Boateng, Dwamena, Esso (C), Guede, Mohammed, Suhiyini, Tetteh

We say: Bechem United 2-1 Dreams FC

Bechem United will almost always find a way to triumph in the face of adversity, and their young stars have certainly been striking fear into the hearts of opponents.

As such, the winless run hoodoo may finally be lifted for Kwaku Danso’s side, who should not keep Karim Zito’s team out but can capitalise on their rearguard frailties with the help of some of their young chaps hungry for success.
