Accra Lions FC with their first win of the season after dominating and beating Nsoatreman FC by 3-1 in match-week four opener of the Ghana Premier League.

The game started on a very good and delightful note with both teams exhibiting some sumptuous possessive display of football in the opening minutes.

The homesters opened the scoring account in just nine minutes from kickoff courtesy newbie Salman Faris who pounced on a huge clanger at the back.

Seven minutes later, Ezekiel Alladoh doubled the lead for Accra Lions with what was a beautiful goal after dazzling his way in the box before hitting into the net.

Despite playing very well but failed to register a goal at half time, Nsoatreman FC returned on a strong note in the second half and took total control of the game.

Stephen Diyou in the early stages was served with a sitter to reduce the deficit but he failed to convert at a very close range thanks to a massive stop by goalkeeper Daniel Afful.

The resulting corner kick finally gave them their first goal in the game after Abdul Rahaman pounced on a lose clearance to find the back of the net to pull one back for the visitors.

Accra Lions restored their two-goal lead on the 66th minute through Blessing Asuman who rebounded into the net from Alladoh's shot that had already been checked by goalkeeper Sabi Acquah Ferdinand.

The Blue-Blacks subsequently had few more chances fall on their path but couldn't make it count as it finished 3-1 after full time.
