Bibiani Goldstars remains the only unbeaten team in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season after ten matches following a thrilling draw with Young Apostles at Wench Sports Stadium.

The Miners, who are yet to taste a defeat in the 2024/25 season, extended their lead on top of the Premier League table after holding the debutants to a 0-0 in their match-week 10 game on Sunday afternoon.

Young Apostles were highly optimistic of securing a win over Bibiani Goldstars at home to bounce back to winning after last weekend's loss to Legon Cities in Accra.

Burly striker Daniel Lomotey came close to open the scoring for Young Apostles in the 23rd minute of the game, but his effort was brilliantly saved by goalkeeper Kobi.

Bibiani Goldstars stood resolute in the first half to prevent the hosts from causing any havoc before the recess as it ended in a dull draw.

In the second half, Bibiani Goldstars took over possession to dominate the early minutes but they failed to make their chances count.

Ronald Frimpong was a delight to watch on the flanks as he kept tormenting the backline of Young Apostles with the hosts of netting his first away goal for Bibiani Goldstars.

However, his efforts were dealt with timely responses of Young Apostles which forced coach Frimpong Manso to substitute Ronald in the 76th minute of the game.

Despite the late attempts from the two teams, they failed to find the match-winner as the game ended in a score-less draw at the Wenchi Sports Stadium.
