Berekum Chelsea have shot back into eight place in the Premier League table thanks to Samuel Boadu’s masterminding a 1-0 win over Vision FC on Sunday afternoon.
A slow burner at the Golden City Park burst into life just 17 minutes before recess, as Emmanuel Sarpong fired in his fourth goal in the fifteen games he has featured in so far to put the Bibires ahead with their only shot on target of the first half.
Nana Agyemang’s team came close to levelling matters before the break, but a combination of Zakaria Fuseini and Ben Acheampong kept them at bay, and Vision FC’s attacking endeavours in the second period were incredibly futile.
As Bibires rejoice in leapfrogging Samartex and moving into within touching distance of Medeama, Vision FC are entrenched in 12th with 19 points of the standings, a whopping 13 points off the top-four positions.
