Godfred Poku Wakii scored an incredible winner to boost Aduana Stars hopes of a place in the top-four as the Fire tasted victory in their tenth win of the campaign.

Alex Boakye's 3rd Premier League goal of the season put Cioba Aristica's side ahead, but Stephen Amankona equalised in the 42nd minute which changed the mood inside Nana Agyemang Badu Stadium.

However, Elvis Addo scored Aduana's second goal in the afternoon which left Berekum Chelsea's goalkeeper Emmanuel Adu red-faced.

Adu's goal was prematurely chopped off three minutes later by Amankona to make it 2-2 which the Bibires thought they'd gotten a chance to break the carapace of their hosts, but unfortunately they were in for a heartbreak.

Poku Wakii - who climbed off the bench to replace Kwadwo Amoako due to the latter sustaining an injury, scored the winner in the 72nd minute to force the match to end 3-2 which ensured Aduana remained very much in the mix for a top-four finish.

Aduana, who moved to 11th on the league standings with 41 points, are ten points behind fourth-placed Asante Kotoko.

Berekum Chelsea remain 10th on 41 points.
