Stephen Appiah Asare scored late to salvage a point for Hearts of Oak who held Bibiani Goldstars to a pulsating 1-1 draw at the Dun's Park in match-day 25.

Both teams were really on top of their games and gave each other a perfect opposition and good run for their money.

Nketiah pulled off a great save while Raphael Amponsah won himself a foul but the delivery went wide for a goal-kick. 

The homesters were handed a free kick at a very good position and Ronald Frimpong stepped up for it but his delivery went wide for a restart.

In the second half, the Miners were handed a penalty in the early stages but blasted wide.

Both teams attacked from their flanks leaving a very speed game and created so many chances but struggled to find the back of the net.

In the 89th minute, the home team found the back of the net from another spot-kick which was nicely converted by Gideon Anaba

With few seconds to end the game, Stephen Appiah Asare scored out of no where to level the draw as it finished 1-1 in full-time. 

Bibiani Goldstars have dropped to the second position with 41 points and will face Heart of Lions next

Hearts of Oak are currently in the fourth place with 37 points and will host Nations FC in the next round of matches
