Giants Asante Kotoko have been held by Vision FC to a pulsating goalless draw at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Stadium in an oustanding match-day 7 clash of the Ghana Premier League.

The game had to be delayed due to Kotoko’s participation in the CAF Confederation Cup of which they exited the competition in the second qualifying round.

After a convincing win over arch-rivals Hearts of Oak, many saw this to be just a walkover for the Reds but unfortunately it wasn’t as they had to share spoils in the end.

Despite starting well with Saaka coming through with the early opportunity, his strike was parried away by goalkeeper Kwame Aziz alongside others.

Kotoko were dealt with a huge blow in the 64th minute following Seth Kwadwo’s injury and was replaced with Baba Yahaya.

Both teams made series of goal incursions but all proved futile as it finished goalless in the end. Vision FC are currently in tenth place wjth 12 points and will travel to Basake Holy Stars next.

Asante Kotoko will also remain in seventh place with 15 points after this draw and will host Aduana Stars in the next round of matches.
