Hearts of Oak played out a pulsating goalless draw against Bechem United in a weak tie of the Ghana Premier League at the University of Ghana Stadium.

In a very fashion, coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani handed starting spots to Solomon Agbasi in goal leaving his captain Benjamin Asare on the bench.

The game was a very interesting one with both teams all making some incursions on goal right from onset.

Hamza Issah broke on a counter in the early stages but his long range effort went wide off the crossbar for a goal-kick.

In the second half, both teams bounced from where they left off and exerted so much pressure on each coming close in few moments but all proved futile.

The Hunters stole from Hearts to break on a counter with Isaiah Nyarko getting the final ball but his effort was brilliantly saved by Solomon Agbasi.

Hearts of Oak are currently sitting in third place with 36 points after the draw and will play as guests to their sworn rivals Asante Kotoko next.

Bechem United remain in 12th position with 26 points and will host Young Apostles in the next round of games.
