Hearts of Oak were held to a 0–0 draw by Karela United at the Accra Sports Stadium in their matchweek 30 Ghana Premier League game on Wednesday afternoon.

The match was lively and enjoyable, even though no goals were scored. Hearts of Oak had more attacking moments and controlled parts of the game, but both teams had equal possession.

Hearts of Oak created more chances and took eight shots, with two on target. However, they struggled to finish, as many of their efforts went over the bar.

Most of the Phobians’ danger came from the wings, where they tried to break through the Karela defence. Still, they could not find the final touch to score.

Karela United stayed well organised at the back and defended strongly throughout the match. Coach Nurudeen Amadu’s side will be happy with the point they earned away from home.

In the end, both teams had to settle for a draw.

The result keeps Hearts of Oak in third place with 50 points, while Karela United sit seventh with 46 points.
