Swedru All Blacks marked their long-awaited return to the Swedru Sports Stadium in style, cruising to a 3-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea on matchday two of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

The result not only delivered the club’s first win of the campaign but also gave their fans a memorable moment in their first top-flight home game in 16 years.

The hosts made their early dominance count in the 23rd minute when Zayat Bubakari fired them in front with a composed finish. Just as Chelsea began to settle, All Blacks struck again before halftime through Rudolf Mensah, who doubled the lead and tightened the grip on the game.

After the break, Chelsea coach Samuel Boadu attempted to spark a comeback with attacking changes, but it was All Blacks’ bench that proved decisive.

Coach Ahmed Ibrahim Fathy introduced Hafiz Alhassan in place of skipper Kweku Asuandze, and the substitute made an instant impact, sealing the victory late on to complete the emphatic 3-0 win.

The victory comes as redemption for All Blacks, who impressed in their season opener against Nations FC but fell short in a 2-1 defeat. This time, they delighted their supporters with a commanding performance and a clean sheet.

All Blacks now turn their attention to a tough trip to Dormaa to face Aduana Stars, while Chelsea will aim to regroup when they travel to Bibiani to battle GoldStars.
