Aduana FC were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by Heart of Lions in their Ghana Premier League round 31 clash at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Stadium.
The game was evenly contested in the opening exchanges, with both sides creating chances but failing to find the breakthrough before the interval.
Heart of Lions suffered a major setback in the 43rd minute when George Osei was shown a red card, reducing the visitors to ten men just before half-time.
Despite the numerical disadvantage, the Giants Killers showed great resilience in the second half, defending resolutely while also posing occasional threats on the counterattack in a game that produced several exciting moments.
Aduana pushed hard in search of a winner but were unable to break down the disciplined Lions defence, settling for a point at full-time.
The result sees Aduana FC drop to fifth position on the table, and they will look to bounce back when they travel to face Basake Holy Stars in their next fixture.
Heart of Lions, meanwhile, remain outside the top ten and will return home to host Nations FC as they aim to climb up the standings.
